The hotel offered a beautiful scenic ride through the mountains and beech tree forest on their bus. The staff offered courteous service and were very helpful and attentive. The room was very spacious and clean and the traditional style room with tatami mats was a unique feature we enjoyed.
The hotel's location was very remote, making it difficult to access without prior knowledge of the long winding taxi ride. the onsen dressing area was not the cleanest we've seen and the outdoor hot springs were not worth the effort it took to get to them.

The location is really remote and difficult to get to. the hotel needs some important upgrades, especially when it comes to cleanliness.

I recently stayed at a 4-star hotel down the valley, and it was such a wonderful experience! The location was absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. To get down to the hotel, there were about 160 steps, but it was totally worth it. The service provided was top-notch, with staff that were courteous and attentive. The room amenities were luxurious, with a comfortable bed and a flat-screen TV. The dining experience was superb, with every meal being a feast for the senses. And to top it all off, there was free Wi-Fi in the public areas, which was really convenient.
I would highly recommend this place to family and friends. The overall experience was absolutely fantastic, and I cannot wait to go back again.

The location of the hotel down the valley offers a unique and picturesque setting, surrounded by beautiful mountains and waterfalls. the outdoor hot springs, although a bit of a challenge to reach with 160 steps, provide a tranquil and relaxing experience. the spacious and clean rooms, with traditional tatami mats and comfortable beds, ensure a comfortable stay. the attentive and kind staff, including the owner/manager who speaks good English, provides excellent service and goes above and beyond to assist guests. the included meals are a complete feast, served in a pretty dining room.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was spot on, with pristine rooms and facilities. The hotel had ample parking space available for guests. The transportation was convenient, with a bus ride from the city center. Although it took some effort to reach the hotel's location down the valley, the stunning views made it worth it. The breakfast provided was delicious and satisfying. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Cannot find any fault.
